NY Times: Wow, Please and Thank You!

We don't struggle to pray because we don't know when to sit or stand, or don't know what page we are on, or can't pronounce Hebrew.
This is roughly akin to saying we don't know how to love another human being because we don't know how to compose a love sonnet in iambic pentameter.
That might be a culturally important, but not entirely relevant to the project at hand.
As part of their series on contemporary spirituality, the New York Times profiled my particular approach to prayer that has helped many people realize the spirit, even if not the liturgy, of traditional Jewish prayer. I hope it is helpful to you as well!
